Before it turns 2 years in two weeks, Brasserie Paleo had settle into an absolutely unmissable restaurant in Oslo City. Cheerful, proactive, engaging – wheter we walk into the private room with a view of the open kitchen or reserve a table in the big salon, we take for granted that the service will be very good.
“First time I read about Paleo was in an American website, that is when we started this concept – I know it is a danish chef Thomas Rode Andersen, I think he brought it to Scandinavia in a way”, Ola Larsson – Food and Beverage Manager said joyfully as he offered us an espresso before we dag into our dinner.
Tartar of beef, monkfish and apple sorbet was the 3 cours menue that make our way to recovery after a “Strong yoga” and Crossfit session more easy and full of satisfaction. A lot of taste and very fresh food, indeed. Brasserie Paleo strongly work to provide local, fresh food from the season, Ola Larsson, FB Manager told us. – We serve little carbs, but a lot of taste.
We have a very high rating at TripAdvisor, and as I said before, one whom gave us inspiration is Thomas Rode Andersen in Denmark, who made “Kong Hans” (a Michelin restaurant in Copenhagen) with a full paleo menue some years ago.
Included in the menue is two vegetarian main dishes, hereof one vegan and three new dishes per week are add to the menu. A sense of trustworthiness that is kept vital by acts of imagination. And as me, make your way there before or after your WOD/Yoga Class and enjoy it by yourself.
